Georgia J. Roy

Georgia J. Roy, age 78 , of Ingleside , Texas passed away on April 5, 2026. She was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on April 5, 1946 to George and Phyllis Roy.

Georgia graduated from Titan High School in Warsaw, Indiana and later graduated from Davenport University with her Bachelor’s degree and graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Georgia married Thomas Coyle on October 23, 1993, Georgia became the personnel director and retired from the Community Development Center in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

She was a member of North Bay Fellowship in Ingleside for over ten years and had a real passion for her lord.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Roy, her mother, Phyllis Baker Roy, her daughter Dawn Ortiz and brother-in-law Anthony Castaneda.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Thomas Coyle, her grandsons, Joseph Wamsley, Alexander Wamsley, granddaughter Noelle Wamsley and great-grandson Caspian Wamsley all of Portland, Texas, along with siblings, brother Philip Roy of Warsaw, Indiana and her sisters Andrea Roy Jones of Columbus, Ohio, Sidney Roy of Ft. Worth, Texas, India Roy Castaneda of Shelbyville, Indiana, Dana (Craig) Byrd of Camas , Washington and Gina Ashpole of Warsaw, Inidiana.
