We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Freddie “Tomboy” Garnett on May 1, 2024. She was born on August 13, 1948, to Fred Austin Sr. and Iva Lee Bohanan. Freddie now joins her husband, James "Bill" Garnett, son Delmar McGlothlin Jr, daughter Janice Laningham, parents, and brother Chris "Bo" Bohanan in eternal peace. She is survived by her cherished children: Vicki Gifford (Raymond Zepeda), Kim Pellegrin (Todd), Wesley McCullough (Susan), and Chris McGlothlin (Cammie), sister, Jaynette Bishop, Nancy Cady (Ronnie), Laura Terry (Walter) and brother Fred Austin Jr. (Beth) along with her loving grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
  
 A passionate poker and bingo player, Freddie was known for her coin collecting hobby. She brought joy and laughter to all who knew her, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
  
 Rest in peace, Freddie, your spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

A visitation will be held, May 7, 2024, from 12:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. A funeral service will be held on May 8, 2024, at 10:00a.m. also at the funeral home. Graveside to follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
