Fred Diederich

Fred L. Diederich, was born March 7, 1955, in Aransas Pass, Texas to Frieda and Lyle Diederich. He passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, in Corpus Christi. He attended school in both Rockport and Gregory Portland. Fred was a master electrician working mostly in the Brazosport area and eventually opened his own business, Fred’s Electric. Fred was a hard-working man and loved his trade. He also enjoyed carpentry work, working in the yard, and playing his guitar.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Jean Rutledge. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Sally, brother-in-law, Doug Schilling, niece, Gail Schuller, great-nephews, Michael Garrett, Cody Guentzel, and Brandon Guentzel (Des). He also leaves behind many friends, cousins, and his “girls”, Lucy and Ellie.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Rockport, Texas.
