It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Allenger Jr., a beloved husband and a great father who lost his fight with cancer on January 13, 2026, at the age of 79. Frank was born on July 28, 1946, in Hanford, California, to Frank Allenger, Sr, and his mother, Sophia Lopez Allenger.
At the age of 17, Frank proudly joined the U.S. Army to fight for this country. He then moved to Texas. He had three kids from his first marriage, Susie Annette Allenger, Frank Allenger III ( Roxanne), who have survived, and Betty Fussner, who has preceded him in death. He is also survived by his current wife, Kim Patricia Allenger, and their two children, Lillian Letitia Mitchell (Jim Southerland) and Joseph Frank Allenger (Rachal). He is also survived by his sister Toni. He also left behind 14 grandkids and nine great-grandkids. He was deeply loved by everyone. And he will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; His two brothers, Joe and Lawrence; his two-half sisters, Mary Lou, and Anna. His middle daughter, Betty, and two grandchildren, Matthew and Joseph.
Frank was a devoted spouse to his beloved wife, Kim Patricia Allenger. Together, they shared a life filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Frank's warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his unyielding spirit and generous heart.
A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Frank's life on July 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, TX.
Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating his remarkable journey, to share stories, and to reflect on the joy he brought to our lives. His legacy of love and companionship will forever remain in our hearts.
