Francisca Jimenez

Francisca Jimenez, 80, passed away February 3, 2022. She was born December 17, 1941 in Gregory, Texas to Jesus and Guadalupe Rodriguez Cantu. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a wonderful, strong, caring, and loving person, who in turn was loved by many. She was known for her giving nature, adored by her family and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene Cantu; sister, Janie Pena; son, Joe Cantu Trevino and husband, Fidel Jimenez, Sr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Fidel Jimenez, Jr. (Cindy) of Aransas Pass; daughters, Frances Townsend (Rodger) of Aransas Pass, Maria Avitia (Joe) of Ingleside, Irma Villarreal (Daniel) of Rivera, Texas; brother, Polo Cantu (Mary) of Ingleside; sisters, Lupe Cuellar of Taft, Lucia Rios of Milliken, Colorado; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren..

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.with a prayer service being conducted at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Eli Adame will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Ignacio Cemetery.
