In Loving Memory of

Florencio Cruz Trevino

Florencio Cruz Trevino passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of the family and friends who cherished him deeply.

Florencio will always be remembered as a man full of life, style, and heart. Known throughout town as the "GQ" who always rode in style, he carried himself with pride, charm, and confidence wherever he went. He was a great dancer who could light up any gathering, a hardworking man who believed in providing for his family, and a gifted storyteller whose memories and humor brought laughter and wisdom to everyone around him. He was always joyful, and was known for always rocking a crisp white shirt and black pants, and “of course” his polished Stacy's shoes. He liked going to the thrift shop, and he liked riding a bike. But he loved Cadilacs cars, dancing, music, telling jokes, cheetos, and fritos, cold chicken, and bologna sandwiches.

He was preceded in death by his father, Florencio Trevino Sr.; his mother, Cresencia Cruz Trevino; Juanita (Nicholas) Jimenez; Raul (Guadalupe) Trevino; Genoveva (Abundio) Delgadillo; Segifredo (Virginia) Melendez; Esperanza (Jesse) Hernandez; Erlinda Adame; Maria Trevino Gutierrez; and Angelita Trevino.

He is survived by his son, Mark Anthony Trevino and his three children; son, Javier Lopez Trevino (Sara Trevino), and their two daughters, Rebekah Angel Trevino, Clarissa Faith Trevino, his daughter, Lydia Maria Trevino (Steven McDade) her three children, Joshua Lee Trevino, Aniya Maraye Trevino, and Charles J. Trevino: his brothers, Jose Trevino and his children and grand children; Ernesto Trevino (Virginia) and their children and grandchildren, and great grandchildren; brothers in laws,  Rosendo Adame and Amador Gutierrez.

Florencio's spirit, laughter, stories, and unmistakable style will never be forgotten. His memory will continue to live on in every dance, every family gathering, and every story shared in his honor.
