Eva Hodges

Eva Swann Hodges, 95, beloved mother and grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on August 20, 2018. She entered this world on March 20, 1923 in Steele, AL, born to Herbert and Stella Swann.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Toby" Hodges and her son, Howard Thomas Hodges.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Hodges (Lynne) of San Antonio, TX, Michael Hodges (Mary) of Seguin, TX; six grandchildren, Jesse, Jill, Audra, Kara, Keith, Kellie and six great-grandchildren.

Eva dedicated her life to her family whom she loved and adored. She was an avid gardener and was a huge San Antonio Spurs and Texas Rangers fan.

Visitation will be held from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00a.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at Rockport Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made by donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Brookdale Hollywood Park Memory Care.
