Emma Benavides

Emma R. Benavides, went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2021. Emma was born March 9, 1935, in Mexico to Antonio and Rebecca Roman.  Emma was a strong mother and a devoted grandmother.  She was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Emma is preceded in death by her parents, husband Guillermo Benavides, daughter Rosi B. Hernandez, and 1 great-grandson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Catarino Benavides(Veronica) of Angleton, TX, Juan Martin Benavides(Annie) of Corpus Christi, TX; daughters, Guillermia Zamora of Aransas Pass, TX, Cristina Chabera (Rich) of San Antonio, TX, Elizabeth Pacheco (Mike) of Corpus Christi, Texas; 13 grandchildren;  10  great-grandchildren.

Emma is going to be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
