Elva Lee

Elva Gloria Lee, 73 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Elva was born on September 28, 1948 to Gilbert and Crescencia Lee in Aransas Pass, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gilbert, Robert and Rene Lee; sisters, Linda Salinas and Irma Lee; niece Diana Esquivel and nephew, Joel Zundt.

She is survived by her son, Ralph Galvan, Jr. and daughter, Michele (Woodrow) Ousley; granddaughters, Dora G. Balandrano and Emily Grace Ousley; great grandchildren, Michael Jr., Que Sean, Azaelia, Royce Ali and Selena Dora Wilkinson; brothers, Roy Lee of Cleveland, Ohio, Ray Lee of Corpus Christi, Remy (Cyndi) Lee of Aransas Pass; sisters, Sylvia (Robert) Salazar of Corpus Christi and Debbie (Steve) Martinez of Aransas Pass. She also had numerous nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly and many friends whom she chatted with daily. Elva loved her oldest granddaughter Dora and her great grandchildren, she was ecstatic when they came to visit.

Elva had a very fun and loving relationship with her granddaughter Emily, whom she loved and adored as her own. Emily’s friends loved Elva as their own grandma.

Elva was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. When her daughter was a young girl, she would dress her up in a Dallas Cowboy cheerleading uniform every time they played. While her son was out on long fishing trips, she would wait in great anticipation to receive his phone call and hear his voice, letting her know he was safe and back on land. Elva read her Bible daily and enjoyed listening to 91.1 FM with her dog Marley always by her side.

Her sense of humor, “Silly Ways” and “Silly Sayings” will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Visitation will be held from 11:00a.m.-9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:00p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. A funeral procession will begin at 9:40a.m. from Charlie Marshall Funeral Home to a graveside service that will begin at 10:00a.m. at The San Antonio de Padua Cemetery in Aransas Pass.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Lee, Robert Salazar, Jr., Felix Salinas, Jr., Christopher Lee, Estevan Martinez, Jr., Joel Morales and Honorary Pallbearer, Remy Lee, Jr.
