Elton Hudson, Jr.

Elton Bert Hudson, Jr., 59, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2021. He was born August 7, 1961 to parents Jennie Lou and Elton Bert Hudson Sr. in Duncanville, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jennie Lou Hudson, and brother Jeffrey Dwayne Hudson.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Sherry Lynn McDaniel Hudson; sons, Elton Bert "Trey" Hudson III; Dillon Taylor Parrack Hudson; Trevor Dwayne Hudson; Trent Anthony Hudson; Daniel Hancock Guernsey; and Cameron Noles; daughters Rachel Renee Freeman (Gregory Jr.), Allissa Marie Christian (Geoffrey) and their mother, Tina Louise Banse (Rick); his father Elton Bert Hudson, Sr.; brother, Mark Anthony Hudson (Vicki); sister, Carla Renee Harris (Chris); grandson, Dash Freeman; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, along with countless friends and clients.

What a legacy he leaves behind! Fish on my friend and "keep your line tight".

Elton, Sherry’s Honey Bear, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but we will carry his memory forever in our hearts.

Services to be held, 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas.

Celebration of Life, 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 23 at Poor Man’s Country Club in Rockport, Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to, Texas Game Warden Association, for children’s functions.
