Elizabeth is preceded in death by her Husband, Charlie Higgins; Father, Harold Laskoskie; Mother, Rosa Lee Laskoskie; Brother, Anthony Laskoskie; Sister, Virginia Schroeder.
Left to cherish memories and carry on her legacy are her children, Billy (Carol) Jennings, Richard (Amy) Jennings, and Lisa Jennings; siblings, Phillip (Wanda) Laskoskie, Ralph (Betty) Laskoskie, Theresa Minter and Rosemary (Gene) Simmons; grandchildren, Billy Betts, Christian Jennings, Emily Jennings, Nashon Jennings, Zachary Jennings, Ashlen Jennings-Davies; and four great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth had many jobs in her life. Just a few ranged from florist, cooking hamburgers, bank teller, realtor, testing explosives to being a bus driver for 20 years in Aransas Pass ISD. Meanwhile, her hobbies consisted of collecting seashells, hunting for sand dollars, caring for her many plants and animals, dominoes, card games but especially poker. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with loved ones and was always looking for an opportunity to bless others.
Services will be Visitation Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024, at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Aransas Pass. A burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass.
