Elia Buentello Perez, 66, of Aransas Pass, Texas, passed away on December 16, 2025. She was born in Mission, Texas, on September 3, 1959, to parents Celestino and Zumela Buentello. Elia graduated from Gregory Portland High School.

Elia met and married Jerry Perez on October 19, 1985. They built a life full of loving memories and cherished 40 years together. She was known for her love of sewing, gardening, baking, family, and her favorite team, the Houston Texans!

She has left to cherish her memories her loving husband, Jerry Perez; children, Elizabeth Perez, Jeremey (Jessica) Perez, and Jason (Pauline) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Evangeline Perez, Brianna Rodriguez, Brandon Rodriguez; great-grandchild, Zariyah Gutierrez; brothers and sisters, Elva Aleman, Imelda Benavides, Arturo Buentello, Nelda Martinez, Edna Buentello, Nilda Morales, Adan Buentello, and David Buentello.

Preceded in death by her parents, Celestino and Zumela Buentello; brothers, Johnny, Leon, and Robert Buentello

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home located in Aransas Pass, Texas.
