Edelmiro Reyna,82, of Gregory, Texas, passed away on August 27. 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  

He was born on August 12, 1941, to parents Amadeo and Amparo Reyna in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.  

Edelmiro married Maria Del Carmen on May 26, 1968, they shared 55 years together. During his career as a Pipefitter, he worked for Brown and Root. He had a special love for his family and friends. 

Edelmiro is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fausta Reyna and Amadeo Reyna; sister, Soila Silva.  

Left to cherish his loving memory is his wife of 55 years, Maria Del Carmen Reyna; sister, Maria Guadalupe Mancha; his four children, Edelmiro (Rita) Reyna Jr., Ricardo (Rebecca) Reyna, Amadeo (Stephanee Barrera) Reyna, and Susana (Benito) Juarez; grandchildren, Marissa Montez, Edelmiro Reyna III, Victoria Reyna, Nayeli Reyna, Trey Montez, Briana Reyna, Bianca Reyna, Ariyah Martinez, Amaya Reyna, Brenda Lee Juarez, and Benito Juarez III; great-grandchildren, Kynlee Maree Montez, Cole Wyatt Montez and Liviana Sanchez.  

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29. 2023, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Interment to follow at Gregory Cemetery.
