He is preceded in death by his wife, Isabel Rios Martinez; parents, Marta & Estaban Martinez; four sisters, Victoria Benavides, Beatrice Martin, Isabel Guerra, Maria Soliz and one brother, Jose Martinez.
He is survived by his son, Steve Martinez of Ingleside; step-son, Emilio Rinche, Jr. of Kingsville; step-daughter, Diana Rinche McGinnis of Rockport; brothers, Ricardo Martinez of Pearland, Steve Martinez of Texas City; sister, Alicia Romero of Rockport.
Private family services will be held.
