Donald Joseph Blanchard, 71 of Aransas Pass, Texas went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2017. He was born July 11, 1946 in Paincourtville, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents Wilfred "Buck" and Elise Hue Blanchard and granddaughter, Skye Harvey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Grettle Ann Landry Blanchard; sons, Shane John Blanchard (Belinda Rae) Damain Gabriel Blanchard; daughter, Holly Ann Hall (James Lee); brother, Wilfred Blanchard (Margaret); sister, Ann Blanchard; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m. with family present from 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home.
Funeral service conducted by Pastor Donald Volz will begin at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
