David Garcia

In Loving Memory of David N. Garcia

David Navidad Garcia was born on December 25, 1943, in Rockport, Texas.

He was self-employed as a welder. He loved everyone, preaching, spending time with his family and informing us about the weather.

He was no doubt one of the greatest husbands, fathers, grandfathers, uncles, nephews, great grandfathers, brothers, brother-in-law.

He loved people but mostly he loved God. and listening to the gospel on his radio. He taught us to love him too. He enjoyed cooking for his family and everyone., preaching, and singing.

On December 16, 2021 God called him to his heavenly home. He was residing at the Gulf Pointe Plaza Nursing Home.

He is survived by his wife Lucia G. Garcia, Five daughters; Emily Ramos(Alfonso), Elizabeth Garcia Ramos(Alvaro), Lupita Garcia(Will), Diana Garcia(Michael), Lucy Garcia Miller(Dante), brothers Martin Garcia, Felix Garcia, Sister Guadalupe Garcia Alba, other nieces, and nephews, grandchildren, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father Felix Padron Garcia and mother Manuela Ramirez Garcia and siblings Elias Garza, Estorcio Ramirez, Maria Will Orta, Macedonia Garcia, Esmeralda Rodriguez, two grandchildren Sanrda Marie Ramos, Seddrick Justice La Londe. As David would always say “ God Bless You.”

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Rockport, Interment following funeral service at Rockport Cemetery.
