In Cory’s life it is unquestionable that he was a loving husband, astute and caring father, and an even more caring and determined grandfather. Though Cory had troubles in his youth his story of triumph over his addictions and recovery of 21 years carried himself and countless others through their journey to a better lifestyle.  During his life as a “Jack of all trades” Cory was everything and in-between of a shrimper, cook, med tech, and quality control tech in the oil industry. Cory lived life to the fullest and loved every second of it, in his off-time youth never left him and he wouldn’t believe you if you reminded him of his age. His passion for surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, traveling, and riding his Harley always left those who loved him in awe and, a hope he wouldn’t break something. Cory never knew a stranger any place he went and was always available to those in need even when he had somewhere to be, he would say “no worries I’ll get there”. Cory was a God-fearing man who would share his belief with anyone that wanted to listen, he never judged others for their opinions, he just loved sharing stories, his life with others, and if needed, helping where he could.  Cory will be dearly missed by all who knew him, though we know he is in a better place.
