With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Chloe Ann Odom, who left us on June 11, 2025. Born in Kentucky, Chloe was a bright light from the very beginning, later graduating from Humble High School and making her way to Rockport, Texas, where she found her cherished place in the community. On June 19, 2003, Chloe married the love of her life, Edward "Buddy" Odom, with whom she shared countless beautiful memories. A devoted wife and loving mother, Chloe had a heart full of compassion as she volunteered with New Beginnings Ministries and served on the hospitality team at her church. She poured her love into everything she did, whether it was caring for her family, tending to her beloved horses, or uplifting those around her.
Chloe was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Darlene Horton. She is survived by her adoring husband, Buddy, her children—Brandon Roodhouse, Chelsea (Devin) Wertsbaugh, Samantha Greenway, and Justin Odom, and her beloved grandchildren, Lexi Odom-Ryan, Mason, Karly, and Sky Wertsbaugh. She also leaves behind her cherished brothers, Kelly and Ralph Horton. Chloe’s legacy of kindness, joy, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew her. We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating her remarkable life and the love she shared on June 20, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Church in Rockport, Texas. As we reflect on Chloe’s vibrant spirit, we remember her laughter, her love for horses, and the way she embraced life with open arms. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
