It is with heavy hearts but cherished memories that we announce the passing of Cheryl Cover, who left this world on October 5, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on April 1, 1946, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Cheryl lived a vibrant life filled with creativity, love, and resilience.
Cheryl pursued a career in accounting after her studies at Palomar College, demonstrating her commitment to hard work and excellence. However, it was her passion for sewing, quilting, and painting that truly defined her spirit. Cheryl's creative pursuits brought joy not only to herself but also to everyone fortunate enough to receive her handmade treasures. On May 9, 2019, Cheryl married the love of her life, Rex Cover, and they shared a beautiful journey together.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Rex, her loving daughter Jodi Schults and her husband Ronald, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, three children, and a sister, but she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire her family and friends. In this time of mourning, we invite all who knew Cheryl to remember the laughter, creativity, and love that defined her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
