Carolyn Adele Nelson

Carolyn Adele Nelson, age 79, passed away June 12, 2023 in Rockport, Tx. Carolyn was born in San Antonio, Tx. on February 13, 1944 to Wilburn M. Nelson and Prescilla A. Jones Nelson.

Carolyn was a teacher in the Rockport and Ingleside area for over 30 years. She was a long-time member of the Church of the New Testament in Ingleside, some of Carolyn's passions were of course teaching her students, genealogy, photography, and she loved her horses.

Carolyn was one of the most loving, caring, nurturing, and God-Fearing Ladies that anyone would ever have the privilege of knowing, she loved everyone unconditionally.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents;  daughter, Megan Douglas; brothers, Earl and Arthur Neil Nelson.

Left to cherish her memory are the sons and daughters-in-laws,. Dustin (Brandy) Wilson, Marty (Cindy) Wilson, and David (Kristy) Wilson; (14) grandchildren, and (9) Great -grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass with Pastor Lewis Cowan officiating.
