It is with deep respect that we announce the passing of Bryan Lee Beam, who departed this life on October 5, 2025, at the age of 62, in Aransas Pass, Texas.
Bryan lived life fully facing serious health challenges – including open-heart surgery and lung cancer.
Surrounded by loved ones, Bryan's transition was marked by the love and support of his family.
Bryan was born on October 31, 1962, in Floresville, Texas, where he developed his strong work ethic from a young age. A devoted husband and father, he showed determination and integrity, for all who had the privilege of knowing him. His remarkable career spanned over three decades, during which he established ABC Welding, Additionally, Bryan co-owned Shorty’s Restaurant in Pleasanton, Texas, for over 13 years.
Throughout his life, Bryan instilled these values in his son Chris, through hard work and perseverance. His guidance was the foundation upon which his family built their lives, and his unwavering support provided them with the strength to navigate the challenges they faced. Bryan's ability to balance the demands of a successful business with his responsibilities as a father and husband is a legacy that will continue to resonate within his family for generations to come.
In addition to his professional achievements, Bryan was known for his kindness and generosity of spirit. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also had a passion for fast cars and motorcycles. He was a source of strength for his family, always offering a listening ear and advice. His presence and his profound impact on the lives of those around him will be cherished and remembered. He leaves behind a legacy that is rich in love, entrepreneurship, and the invaluable life lessons he imparted to his children and grandchildren.
Bryan is survived by his devoted spouse, Arlene Beam; his son, Chris Beam, his cherished grandchildren, Cace, Levi, & Halle Beam as well as a bonus granddaughter Harper Toothman. His beloved mother, Lillian Beam of Falls City, Sister Neta (Ralph) McMullen of Boerne, his brother Mike (Irene) Beam of Falls City, his bonus son Glenn “Trey” (Chrissy) Toothman of Kerrville, nephews Tyler, & Colton Beam, & Caleb McMullen. Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Carl “Cotton” Beam of Falls City, and his cherished son Austin Beam.
A celebration of life honoring Bryan Lee Beam will be held on October 12, 2025, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM service will be 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a reception to follow after service until 6:00PM where they may gather to pay their respects and share their memories of a remarkable man.
