Bobbie Squyres

Bobbie Jean Squyres left this world to rejoin her husband, Richard Squyres, in the early morning hours of Friday March 15th, 2024. Bobbie was born on January 2nd, 1943 in Corpus Christi, TX to Olga Imogene Laird (Raymond Friday) and William Robert Creasey (Ruth Creasey).

She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, and mother to her daughter, Sonja R. Squyres. Bobbie loved to travel with Richard, going out dancing, her dog Max, and spending time with family and friends. Though Bobbie may no longer be with us in body, her spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Bobbie is preceded in death by both of her parents, two brothers, William Creasey and Kenneth Smiley Jr., and husband, Richard Squyres.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Sonja R. Squyres (Larry Caraker), Johnathan Echols (Kayla, Bryan, and Wallace). Brothers, Jim Creasey (Cliff Cavanaugh), Tom Creasey (Katy), John Creasey (Kathy), and Eldon Heaston (Sharon); Sister-in-law, Mary Smiley; Brother-in-law, Don Vannatta; Nieces, Jennifer Smiley, Tina Rodriguez, Katie Heaston; Nephew, Greg Heaston; Cousins, Alton, Wendy Knox, Suzanne, Ashley, Seth, Marilla, Malisse Lummus, and Kathy Simmons.

Services will be held on April 6th, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass.
