Obituary for Beverly Jean Hartman-Richardson

Beverly Jean Hartman-Richardson, age 75, of Ingleside, Texas, born to Noel and Billie Jean Hartman, was called home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2025. She was born on May 7, 1950, in Austin, Texas, and lived a life rooted in service, compassion, and deep devotion to her family and community.

On August 28, 1975, Beverly married the love of her life, Bob Richardson, former Fire Chief of the Ingleside Fire Department. She proudly served alongside him as a devoted member of the Ingleside Fire Department Auxiliary, supporting both the department and the community it served. When Bob was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Beverly never left his side, spending every day caring for him with strength, comfort, and unconditional love. She also spent many years volunteering selflessly, providing round-trip transportation to cancer patients, often traveling hundreds of miles from her own home—so others could receive life-saving care.

Most importantly, Beverly was a supportive and loving mother and a true thread of the Ingleside community—someone others leaned on, trusted, and found comfort in. She served without seeking recognition, loved deeply, and showed compassion through action. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Richardson, whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Beverly is survived by Bob and Beverly’s loving family, including their children Tina Everett, Bridgett Griffis, Tammy Leur, Daniel Richardson, and Rebecca Richardson, and her cherished grandchildren Christopher Everett, Brandon Everett, James Griffis III, Megan Leur, Hubert Richardson, William Jones, Trey Jones, Nathan Griffis, and Cody Leur.

Services will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas, on January 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Beverly be honored through acts of kindness and service to others, reflecting the life she lived.
