Beverly Garis

With heavy hearts, the family of Beverly Ann Garis, announces her passing on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at the age of 70.

Beverly was born on May 7, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to Henry Wilson Garis, Sr. and Elizabeth Ammon.

Beverly retired from Aransas County ISD in 2018, after working 13 years as school bus driver, having the privilege to deliver hundreds of Aransas County students to school every day. She was an active member of the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary and she volunteered behind the scenes with the Fulton Oysterfest and as Alderwoman for the Town of Fulton for many years.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Henry Wilson Garis, Sr. and Elizabeth Ammon. She is survived by her son Chris Garis, her three brothers Wilson Garis, Jr. (Marcine), Bill Garis (Sharon), Robert Garis (Debbie); two sisters Betty Dunn (Geno), Mary Cottier (Jim), plus many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at the Fulton Cemetery.
