Beatrice Vaughan

Beatrice Hernandez Vaughan (Wera) Passed away on March 8th 2026 in Aransas Pass Texas at the age of 72 surrounded with love after a brief illness. She was born on November 5th, 1953 to Ramon and Andrea Olivarez Hernandez.

 She loved cleaning, organizing, the outdoors, fishing, camping and gardening. She loved the beach it filled her with peace and beautiful memories from her childhood through adulthood. She was kind of a hippie at heart which made her even cooler. She loved music, singing, dancing, and laughing with her witty sense of humor. Nothing was more important to her than family her 4 children 12 grandchildren and 12 great grand children they were her heart, her light, her joy. She had so much love within her always willing to help anyway she could even if only through prayer. She made everyone feel welcomed loved and valued.

 Welcoming her home were her parents Ramon and Andrea her five brothers Epifanio, Ricardo, Pedro, Cruz, and Juan Hernandez. Along with her amazing grandson Alfonso Sanchez III. 

She is survived by her four children Samantha Sanchez, Jimmy Esquivel, Ruchel (Jesse) Rodriguez all of Aransas Pass and Felicia (Ricky) Menard of Houston. Along with three brothers Guadalupe (Mary) Hernandez ,Pablo (Connie) Hernandez, Jerry (Jane) Hernandez. Two sisters Rosa (Raul) Moreno, Silvia (Edward) Gill. Along with many uncles, cousins , nieces, nephews, and friends. When you think of her always remember, SHE LOVES YOU MORE!

Please join us at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas on Thursday March 19, 2026 from 3 pm to 7 pm to celebrate her beautiful life with music, pictures and to share your memories. Services will be from 6 pm to 7 pm.

Spreading of her ashes will be held Friday March 20th, 2026 at San Antonio De Pauda Cemetery at 10AM in Aransas Pass, Texas.
