Beatrice Rinche

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Beatrice Rinche, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, who left this world on March 31, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on May 10, 1928, in Aransas Pass, Texas, Beatrice lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family.
Her love story with Francisco Nava Rinche was a beautiful testament to true companionship. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home in Rockport, Texas, where Beatrice lovingly nurtured her family, as well as countless children in her role as a nanny. Her kind heart and gentle spirit touched many lives. Beatrice was a proud member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She found joy in helping others and had a passion for watching her beloved novellas, bringing smiles and comfort to those around her. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco, and her loving parents, Guadalupe and Juanita Ramos Lopez. Beatrice is also reunited with her siblings: Margarita Lopez Ortiz, Josephina Lopez Tamayo, Frank Lopez Sr., Manuel Lopez, Juan Lopez, Abelardo Lopez Sr., Mary Lou Lopez, and Robert R. Lopez. Her warmth and wisdom will be profoundly missed by her devoted daughter, Velma Rinche-Barajas, and her four beloved grandchildren: Marissa, Jose, Benji, and Aldo Barajas. She is also survived by her brothers, Benito, Rafael, and Henry Lopez, and her sister, Mary Jane Toguchi, who will carry her legacy of love and compassion forward. 

A Mass in her honor will be held on April 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., where family and friends will gather to celebrate her remarkable life and the indelible mark she has left on all of us. Following the service, Beatrice will be laid to rest at Fulton Cemetery where her spirit will forever be embraced by the love that surrounded her all her life.
