She embraced becoming a grandmother to Charles (Chuck) Crawford Jr. and Barbara (Barbie) Barr and was very proud of their achievements and was ecstatic when they joined her at CCMS. She welcomed Veril and Shelly into the family with open arms and leapt for joy when great-grandkids Collin, Jamie, Emma and Ellie were born.
Charlene enjoyed playing games like backgammon and Yahtzee with her grandkids, and deep-sea fishing. Charlene also loved traveling, whether it was trips to Europe, Cabo San Lucas, Miami Boat shows, playing in the Caribbeans, or just gambling with Sam at Coushatta.
