Barbara Kae (Johnson) Polinard, 67, of Rockport Texas departed this world escorted by a company of angels on June 9th 2024. Barbara was born on January 16th 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Richard King High School in 1975. Married for 49 years to her High School sweetheart and soul mate, she lived her life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and a voice for compassionate change. Barbara’s positive outlook, courageous heart and kind spirit made her an inspiration to those who knew her. She is survived by her husband George Martin (Mark) Polinard, her son John Steven Polinard, her daughter Melisa Kae Walker and husband Timothy Allen Walker, her grandson William Zen Kasson, 19, her granddaughter Whitney Divine Walker, 13, her two sisters Cynthia Arlene Tucker and Diane LaVonne Chapman as well as a huge extended family. Barbara loved books, family and friends and she made it her purpose to teach her children the virtues of honesty, morality and loving others unconditionally. She dreamed of opening a spiritual book store under the name “Acres of Diamonds” and she had collected and catalogued numerous books just for that purpose. Barbara was a light in the world that will continue to shine for all eternity. A memorial service to celebrate and honor Barbara's life experience will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home located at 2003 West Wheeler Avenue in Aransas Pass, Texas, 78336.
