Adan Adame, Sr.

Adan Garcia Adame, Sr., 74 passed away September 22, 2017. He was born September 13, 1943 in Portland, Texas to Agapito Adame, Sr. and Teodora Garcia Adame. He was an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, altar boy, usher and volunteered at Bingo. He was also active in the community Little League.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe Adame, Jesus Adame, Noe Adame; sister, Mary Jane Adame.

He is survived by his former spouse, Elida H. Adame of Ingleside, Texas; companion of 15 years, Maria Flores; sons, Adan H. Adame, Jr., of Ingleside, Texas, Rene H. Adame of Sugar Land, Texas; brother, Agapito Adame, Jr. of Houston, Texas; sister, Janie Mendez of Ingleside, Texas; grandchildren, Ashlyn Shugart, Kristen Adame, Jonathon Matthew Adame , Ariana Adame, Adana Adame; great grandchildren, Aisen Adame, Tristan Shugart, Jeffery Copley; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00a.m. Monday, September 25, 2017 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gregory Cemetery.
