He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Larry Pruitt of Los Angeles, California, Gilbert Newman and Garland Pruitt of Ingleside, Martin Pruitt (Donna) of Aransas Pass; sister, Lori Manuel of Rockport.
