At Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes, we have tremendous respect and appreciation for our community of hospice caregivers. This may be a hospice professional -- physician, nurse, chaplain, social worker, CNA, a healthcare administrative professional or a volunteer.
In an effort to recognize these dedicated people for their selfless devotion and generosity of the heart, we have created our “Caregiver Award” program. Each year we will honor a caregiver based upon a review of nominations received from peers, friends, patients and their families, and others who feel a particular person excels in her or his profession.
At the end of the year the review committee will select the Caregiver of the Year to be revealed at the banquet honoring the winner. The Caregiver of the Year will win a $250 Gift Card and a matched donation to the award recipient’s place of employment.
The winner will be announced on October 24th, at a special event held from 5:00pm - 6:30pm held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. This special ceremony will also feature a talk from our special guest of the night, Elizabeth Ramirez-Sullivan, USW, of Harbor Hospice. The talk will be centered around finding your support system and the challenges one faces as a caregiver.
Please use the form to nominate and recognize an important caregiver, so we can honor that person through recognition and a special gift
