My mom loved us all. Everyone in her life was very special to her. I don’t know if she knew how special she was to us though. This has been the hardest point in my life to see you gone mom. I will teach my children to care and love as you did as you taught me. I love you mom

My deepest condolences to the Hinojosa and McIlwain families over the sudden loss of Meisha. It was obvious from her visitation, funeral, and burial that she was loved by many people. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend. Hers was truly a life well lived. May Meisha find Heavenly Peace and her loved ones find comfort.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. Including her guard family. I was blessed to know Meisha as she taught both my boys and then be able to help hang out with the Guard, supplying the “good hairspray “ as she called it and the pound of Bobby pins. She will be missed. Prayers for all. RIP my friend.

I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to visit with Meisha recently at the airport. It was a pleasant surprise to see her. Beautiful as ever...she was surrounded by school kids and closely watching their every move. I fondly remember Meisha when we were much younger....both a bit silly...and always laughing about something. We spent quite a lot of time together back then.....twirling buddies.....sharing an enjoyment for something that looking back now - I believe helped both of us grow in to confident, strong adults. My heart goes out to her family. I know how much she was loved, adored, and cherished. May God Bless you all and give you comfort. And may my long time friend, Meisha, rest in eternal peace.

Meisha supported the Military therefore she had her classroom do the same. She had them write my husband on veterans day. Then did christmas cards for the troops. I sent them to a base but they are on leave. They will get them around the first week of January so she is still supporting our Troops even from Heaven. Now I know I have an Angel watching over my Son. In return we will watch over your children.
