Beverly Gayle D'Amico, 76, was lifted up into heaven on November 2, 2018. She was born on September 1, 1942 to her parents Arthur and Alice Firguson.
Beverly was a very talented and gifted woman. She played the piano and while she wasn't doing that she enjoyed giving the gift of music to others through direction and practice. Beverly was a Musical Director at an elementary school in the state of Oklahoma and by doing that not only did she adore it, she allowed the children to grow and learn through music.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Nathan D'Amico; son, Ashley D'Amico (Trisha); daughters, Healley D'Amico and Savannah Lee; and her five grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held to honor Beverly's life at the First United Methodist Church in Rockport, Texas on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 2:00pm.
So very sad to hear about sweet Beverly, but even more so for her family who loved her so much. We really clicked and wanted to spend more time together. I have been in the hospital myself for over a week and I wish I could have attended her service. She blessed my life.

I was introduced to you when I entered kindergarten. Then and in my memory you were always Mrs. Davis. You were kind, no nonsense, hip, and beautiful. This constant in the 7 years I spent at Sooner Rose. Thank you for loving us well. Rest in peace, Mrs. Davis. You are loved and remembered all these years later.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Berverly was an amazing teacher. Her class brought me so much joy along with learning and a true love for music. I hope I can pass that joy onto my own children. Heaven will be more musical with an angel like her there!

Mrs. Davis as I knew her at Sooner Rose, touched my heart of music. She was one of my favorite memories. Show choir, talent shows, and her love for music. Thank you for installing the love of music in me. I thought of you often as I sing or dance as I grew older. I love music now because of you. You will truly be missed.

Praying for your family! I was blessed to have grown up at Sooner Rose and loved music class and Ms. Davis! She was always so uplifting and had so much fun that we kids couldn't help but join in. She had a profound effect on me as a child and I am who I am because of her influence.

I had Mrs. Davis as my music teacher at Sooner Rose Elementary in Midwest City. She was such an amazing teacher with the most beautiful voice. She taught us to love music. She will be missed. My thoughts are with her family.

I was privileged enough to marry into the family of this amazing woman. She welcomed me with open arms. If I ever needed a pep talk or someone to list my spirits, she was always there to be my cheerleader. I appreciate her warm smile and her beautiful relationship with God. Thank you, Beverly, for being a mother and friend to me. You are treasured and I miss you already.
