I served in the Army.

Heaven is rejoicing with the arrival of Ronnie Earl West of Erick, Oklahoma. Ronnie passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 28 days.

Ronnie was born April 26, 1947 to Ethel (Snider) and Hester Earl West. He grew up in Erick, Oklahoma where he attended school. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and remained very patriotic and proud of his time in the service throughout his life.

Ronnie enjoyed fishing, racing and spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed reconnecting with loved ones the past couple of years while traveling with his best friend Brenda Sells. Ronnie would brighten any room he entered and always had a smile on his face. He will be remembered as a loving father to his daughters, Kim and Karrie, a loving grandpa, brother, and friend to everyone he met. Ronnie's spirit, love and devotion will be missed dearly as Heaven has received a wonderful soul.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ethel Dean Babcock.
